Iseco’s international brand, Foston Europe, participated last week in the main care and technology trade fair Zorg&ICT in Utrecht the Netherlands. During this 3-day event all major European healthcare technology companies gathered to present the latest trends and developments in the area of ICT, software and technology for the healthcare and long-term care. As an originally Spanish organization, Foston brought a bit of Spain to this international fair as the only Spanish participant.
Foston represented Iseco’s Spanish-made systems integration platform, ControlCenter10, specialised for long-term care facilities, such as: nursing homes, assisted living facilities and psychiatric hospitals. The main focus of the fair, for Foston, was to introduce the capabilities of the platform in terms of integration and interoperation between nurse call systems, wandering control and more general building automation, such as: fire alarms, climate control and access control.
The third day of the fair was a typical Spanish day. In order to demonstrate Foston’s roots as a Spanish systems integrator, the international team who manned the Foston booth celebrated the last afternoon of the fair with traditional and regional delicacies from Spain. The visitors were served with delicious ‘Iberico’ ham and local Valencian wines.
The Spanish day at Foston’s booth was completed by a visit of a representative of the economic and commercial department of the Spanish embassy in the Hague. Foston’s team is looking back on a successful fair in the Netherlands and we hope we successfully represented our roots, as the only Spanish participant, on the Zorg&ICT trade fair.
